School Age Creative Arts Programs & After School Clubs Descriptions And Schedule:

Mondays: Lego Land (Jan. 4 – March 8, 9 weeks-No Class on Feb. 15)

Play, learn and build with Lego. During each class young minds will be challenged to create particular shapes, buildings and creatures that are seen in everyday life. Some challenges will be solo based while others can only be finished through working together to create a true Lego masterpiece. This class will challenge building concepts and perhaps even foster the budding architect in your school ager!

Tuesdays: Music Mania! (Jan. 5 – March 9, 10 weeks)

This is a fantastic program that will allow your childs passion and joy of music to flourish! Your child will be introduced to basic musical theory and terms, have the opportunity to play different types of musical instruments, learn songs of their own choosing and listen to different genres of music from all around the world. The concept of improvisation will also be introduced in the form of creative group jam sessions.

Wednesdays: Crazy Science (Jan. 6 – March 10, 10 weeks)

Our very own mad scientists Dr. Buckles will tackle the world of science with your school ager. Concepts of science will be nurtured through art and some more traditional science experiments. The world all around us is filled with science....let your child see the beauty of science in an exciting and refreshing way!

Thursdays: Team Building Challenge (Jan. 7 – March 11, 10 weeks)

Near the end of a long week at school your school ager will have the opportunity to let their hair down a little. Different games and challenges will be presented to the children which they will have to over come by co-operatively working as a team. The challenges and games are created to encourage team work, build confidence, and inspire young minds!

Fridays: Homework Help (Jan. 8 – March 12, 9 weeks)

Our homework help class is designed to provide your child with one on one time with our staff in order to assist them with their daily school work. Each Friday your child will have a work session where they can focus on any component of that week’s homework with the guidance of our staff. Not all work!!! We will also provide ample time for free play in the playground to allow your child to unwind.
