Our Philosophy

We at Amazon Downtown strive to provide you and your children with a safe, clean and fun environment. Our ball pit, slides, climbing structure, and monkey head swing provide ample space for active play, while our costume and puppet centres allow children to get lost in their imaginations and creativity.

Our aim is to serve the surrounding community by not only providing a space for play but also a place for parents to meet and relax. We believe that we have an obligation to support the community as best we can. We are very excited to work with neighbourhood families and community members!

Staff

We are very pleased to introduce our new weekday manager, Charlotte Mould. Charlotte is trained as an Early Childhood Educator (E.C.E.) Specialist and has up-to-date First Aid Certification. Charlotte also has many artistic interests and is a trained and accomplished musician, having toured throughout the world. With over a decade of experience working with children ages 6 months to 12 years, in both a day care setting and as a music teacher, her knowledge and creativity are an asset to Amazon. She is eager to work with the community so that Amazon can serve you better!

The owners of Amazon Downtown, Maia and Stephanie Renihan, are both University educated and have over 2 decades of combined experience working with children in a variety of settings. Maia has worked in camps and as a tutor for children ages 1-14, including kids with a variety of special needs. Stephanie has extensive experience in working with children at sports camps and in a school setting.

Our playground and party helpers are all University educated and have a variety of experience working with children of all ages providing Amazon with a creative and enthusiastic team!
