Owner and Early Childhood Educator and Musician, Charlotte Mould, has built the playground around one simple thought: through play and the creative arts, children are exposed to new ideas that help them grow both socially and cognitively.
This simple principle governs everything that you will find in our space and in the programs we offer.
- Every child who visits us thrills to the activities, toys and costumes available. (Who doesn’t enjoy a ball pit, a climbing frame with a giant monkey head swing and a game of dress-up?)
- Every parent who visits us will notice the Sensory Panels and the good-old-fashioned “hands on” activities that engage the mind as well as the body.
Our developmentally-appropriate Programs and Day Camps are based on the same premise. A safe, clean, nurturing and fun environment is just what “youngsters” – from toddlers up – need to thrive.
We strive to offer the families in our community exceptional facilities and programming and a high standard of care at reasonable prices. Our Drop-in Play sessions give you a chance to bring the kids, bond with them and meet your neighbours. Our Programs and Day Camps provide opportunities for children to develop independently.
REFRESH YOURSELF
While the kids are playing, parents and other caregivers can relax with an always fresh, always free, coffee and a chat. Or bring in a NUT-FREE snack from one of the many local eateries (grab a sure-to-please daily lunch special and a sweet treat at Emma's Country kitchen...WARNING...their weekend brunch menu offers in-house-cured bacon that is deliciously habit forming! Or, run across the road to one of the areas newest arrivals, Stella's Lunch Box, for a delicious oh-so-frothy cappuccino and a smoked salmon sandwich...mmmm!) bring it in and enjoy in our eating area.
And when you need some “couple time” away from the weekly grind, Friday DateNights help parents have an evening off whilst the kids safely play under the watchful eye of professionals.
